On Wednesday, the Science Ambassadors joined eight other schools to take part in the Winter Physics Fair which was sponsored by The Institute of Physics. They ran a stall making musical gloves which involved coding micro:bits to play different tunes when they were moved in different ways. The Science Ambassadors taught other children who came to their stall how to make musical gloves and then visited other stalls to take part in, and learn about, different physics activities. A highlight of the evening was a demonstration by author Alom Shaha of fun Science activities parents can do at home using household items. His book is called ‘Recipes for Wonder’ and would make a great Christmas present!
