Chess in Communities

Past and present Chess Club members visited the Chess in Schools and Communities, annual flagship event, the London Chess Classic. The event was hosted by leading artificial intelligence company DeepMind, at Google’s headquarters in London, on Friday 1st December 2017.

The children got to compete against other schools and their year groups and see the UK’s largest chess event and watch, as the world’s grandmasters converged in London for the final leg of the Grand Chess Tour.

There are still places available in Chess Club if your child would like to join. The cost is £22 per half term, payable in advance.
