If children do not learn to read, they cannot read to learn. Just 46% of children who achieved the low level 1 in KS1 reading went on to achieve the expected level 4 at Key Stage 2 in 2010. A lack of confidence in reading…


This is a reminder that the school closes at 3:30pm and not 3.45pm. An Increasing number of parents are continually collecting their children late. There will be a £3 charge if children are collected late.  

Maths Workshop

Parents/Carers, we will be holding a five week Maths course for parents in reception to Year 2 classes. If you would like to attend this free course starting 2nd June please sign up to it in the school office ASAP.    

Head Lice

We have had a few incidences of Head Lice in the school. As Head Lice spreads quickly could you please check your child’s head this weekend. To treat Head Lice effectively you must treat the whole family.  


This term the Nursery children are learning about minibeasts. The children have been reading books and shown the different stages the minibeasts go through. You can support their leaning by talking about creatures you see on your way to school, or in the park or…
